SISTER SPOTLIGHT: AVERY MCBRIDE

AVery is a junior public health major. she joined esa in the fall of 2021.

Avery recently started therapy for her anxiety.

"I have been struggling with anxiety since I started high school, and it was hard for me to get help as I felt like no one would understand. ESA did a great job at informing of us mental health resources on campus and I was able to get a psychiatrist and get the help I needed. I now participate in therapy sessions and often attend group sessions to meet people with similar struggles and share how we individually overcome our anxiety and exercises that we use that are helpful :)"
